About

VorTX 3735, the Klein ISD FRC (FIRST® Robotics Competition) Robotics Team, was founded in 2011 by 11 students as “Klein Bots.” In 2017, we rebranded to “VorTX 3735”. Ending our 14th Season, our team has seen massive growth from what was once a school closet to an automotive garage, and gathering students from Klein High, Klein Cain, Klein Oak, Klein Collins, and Klein Forest
Our team strives to engage, encourage, and educate STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to not only our members, but to our community. Through Student-led outreach events like Summer Camps, Demos, Volunteer Events, VorTX strives to make an impact and inspire everyone. We are proud to do what we do and we want to share what STEM means for us. The only way we can accomplish this is by taking the world by storm.

Mission Statement
Team 3735 aspires to provide youth with the opportunity to grow into tomorrow’s leading engineers and scientists. To create a warm environment where seeds of teamwork and professionalism are sown and nurtured. To encourage members of our team to remain involved with their community, sharing their knowledge while gaining real-world experience.
